Theme-Based Painting Competition
On 17th May 2026, G H Raisoni Skill Tech University and School of Art, Music, Visualisation, Entertainment & Design in collaboration with the Orange City Literature Festival, successfully hosted its Weekly Art Competition at Riaan Tower Nagpur, with an enthusiastic participation of 213 participants from various age groups.
The competition was conducted on-site for a duration of 2 hours, where participants created original artworks based on the Fusion Theme Participants should choose any form of traditional painting, such as Phad, Warli, Madhubani, etc. and create a fusion of it with a contemporary form. The artwork should convey a meaningful story or concept.
The event provided a creative platform for students, hobby artists, and professionals to showcase their artistic skills.
The competition was judged by:

Winners were announced across three categories:
Group A (8–13 years)
- 1st Prize (₹3,000): Swaksh Kalakota
- 2nd Prize (₹2,000): Sameer Yadav
- 3rd Prize (₹1,000): Saatvik Dhopte
- Consolation Prize (₹500 each):Jenesis Khaire, Harsh Rajendra Deshmukh
Group B (14–21 years)
- 1st Prize (₹5,000):Pratibha Verulkar
- 2nd Prize (₹3,000): Jagruti Devendra Sonwane
- 3rd Prize (₹2,000): Tannu Priya Singh
- Consolation Prize (₹1,000 each):Radha Narendra Bagekar, Sonali sunil kale
Group C (22+ years)
- 1st Prize (₹7,000):Pradeep dhanraj patekar
- 2nd Prize (₹5,000):Prajwal Mundwaik
- 3rd Prize (₹3,000):Rutika Baban Nandurkar
- Consolation Prize (₹1,500 each): Vaibhav Borekar, Harshal Sunilrao Ghose
All entries were evaluated based on creativity, technical skills, and relevance to the theme. The decision of the judges was final, and no appeals were entertained.
The event concluded successfully with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners were awarded a total prize pool of ₹37,000. The competition celebrated creativity, talent, and artistic expression among all participants.

The competition was conducted on-site for a duration of 2 hours, where participants created original artworks based on the themes My Village / Rural Life and Wildlife. The event provided a creative platform for students, hobby artists, and professionals to showcase their artistic skills.
The competition was judged by:
